Volunteering
Susan has volunteered her time on several Toronto Regional Real Estate Board Committees including the prestigious Government Relations Committee whereby she has met with local MPs, MPPs, the Minister of Housing and The Minister of Environment to discuss housing issues in Ottawa and Queen’s Park. In 2018 & 2020 she was elected by the members of TRREB to the Board of Directors at the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board in landslide victories. Her name and reputation in the industry was key to this success.

Selling our generational home was an overwhelming experience, especially given the uncertainty of the Toronto real estate market over the past couple years.
After carefully interviewing several different agents specializing in the East York area and thinking we had landed on the right one, we soon became sadly disappointed. Then we met Susan!

We interviewed a few agents to help us sell our home and immediately after speaking to Susan knew we would hire her. There were a couple of things that could have presented a problem for a potential sale: no basement, only 2 bedrooms and our next door neighbour's unkempt house. She acknowledged those issues, but steered us towards things we could do something about. We fixed a few outstanding issues based on her recommendation and followed her advice every step of the way (side note: she is also great as she knows a lot of professionals: from painters to movers etc). Additional hurdle was that in the meantime we also bought a new place (another great realtor from her referral), so there was even more pressure to make the sale happen.
Once we cleared up the place, Susan and her team transformed the blank canvas with an amazing staging. Still, we were expecting tough sale and braced ourselves for the possibility of our house sitting on the market for some time. However, on the offer day we got 4 offers due to Susan's follow up with each and every visitor (including the people that came for the open house). And not only did we get 4 great offers, but due to her work behind the scenes we got an improved and accepted offer of over 1mil.

If you are buying or selling a house, we would strongly recommend Susan and her family. When we contemplated selling our place, but weren't sure, we called Susan and she quickly came by. Even though we were just considering it, Susan spent a good amount of time going through the house, providing a long list of suggestions.
For that reason, when we decided to buy a house on short notice, we called Susan again. She immediately contacted us, even though it was later on a Sunday, and agreed to help us arrange a showing.
